The core design of interior window shutters hasn’t changed too much over the many years they’ve existed. That’s for good reason: These window treatments are still an excellent option combining timeless style, durability and security, customization potential, and considerable light control. And when they’re installed by Cascade View Construction, you can rest assured they’ll be built to last. That’s because we install industry-leading shutters from Graber for our customers in Kirkland and the greater Seattle, Washington area.
While the core design of shutters has been consistent, that doesn’t mean that all shutters look and feel the same way. Here’s what Cascade View Construction will help you understand when you’re discussing a window shutter installation project with us:
One of the first things to know before installing your shutters is what kind of panel configurations you’ll need to fit your windows. Smaller or skinnier windows can get by with single-panel shutters, but you may consider different styles if you’re getting treatments for larger windows. The shutters we install are also available in two-panel swinging and four-panel accordion-style configurations to meet any needs you have.
Cascade View Construction offers and installs interior window shutters in two different materials. Wood shutters are lightweight, available in a huge variety of frame styles and colors, and can be repainted or refinished to achieve a new look. Composite shutters are heavier and somewhat less customizable, but they are also resistant to moisture and won’t crack, peel, or warp over time. We’ll be happy to give you more information about each material at your consultation.
